Fluconazole (Flucaz) and Its Uses

Fluconazole is very commonly used for the treatment of systemic fungal infection and moniliasis (candida-a mould).
It usual dose is 150 mg Capsule once a day for 2 weeks.
In light skin infection fluconazole is advised to be taken once a week because it stays longer in body.

In some cases liver may be affected.

phenytoin,cisapride and antibiotic are taking with it some changes in doses are required.
